The Hive receives Best INpublic at the IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter’s 19th Annual INawards. The Hive is actually a ‘library without books’—a place for discovery and community connection in a building uniquely shared by the Spokane Public Library system and Spokane Public Schools district. Rather than access to books and computers, this ‘hive of learning’ provides an underserved community with a collection of spaces that can be ‘checked out’ free online for 24/7 meeting, training, and creating.
