Located in historic Liberty Park, the library sits in the heart of its Spokane neighborhood featuring views of basalt cliffs and old growth trees. The library is rooted to its unique place and history through form and materiality. Its design is reminiscent of familiar picnic shelters with its honest simplicity while color, tone, and texture reference regional roots in logging and farming. The plan is simple and open offering abundant daylight and views.
