Originally commissioned for a regional agricultural bank, building renovation complements the mid-century structure with a fresh identity suited to a contemporary company operating on a global scale.

PROJECT DETAILS
This highly recognizable downtown building was initially designed for agricultural lender Farm Credit Bank in 1968. Renovation for a global aluminum industry technology company compelled a fresh, contemporary work environment emphasizing transparency and collaboration.
All five floors of the building were completely gutted, abated, and repurposed. The iconic mid-century building provided good bones and an open floor plate, allowing for ultimate flexibility and design opportunity. Employee cross-pollination, creativity and access to views and daylight were key design drivers. An open floor plan with shared semi-private meeting spaces, transparent offices and conference rooms and a variety of work spaces supported the companies message of employee well-being.
Employees are energized by work environments that stimulate and inspire creative thinking. Overall, the building complements the existing structure with a fresh identity suited to a contemporary company operating on a global scale.
