PROJECT DETAILS
This school replaces an existing single story mid-century vintage school, providing much needed-classroom, multi-purpose, gymnasium, administrative, library, and flexible space for school events and its neighborhood community.
The design concept was developed in response to Spokane Public Schools elementary educational specifications and numerous program criteria, existing and future site and campus conditions, and various standards and governing regulations. Numerous site diagrams laid out options for the best ways to access and efficiently use the site. Upgrades include improvements to playgrounds, landscaping, traffic flow and parking facilities, as well as the removal of portable classrooms. Construction occurred on the same site concurrent with school in session.
